Our Story
Itzé Nah was born as a response to the COVID-19 health crisis. During the most difficult moments of the pandemic, many families in our community lost access to the most basic needs — health, food, education, and emotional support.

In the midst of that emergency, a group of women and caring allies decided to take action. What began as a spontaneous support network to deliver food baskets, clothing, and household items soon evolved into a deeper project: providing comprehensive accompaniment to families in vulnerable situations.

On March 17, 2021, we formally became a non-profit organization. Itzé Nah, which in the Mayan language means “House of Dew” or “House of Rebirth,” represents for us a symbolic home where every family can find support, care, respect, and opportunity.

Our Commitment
What makes us unique is our holistic and human commitment. We don’t just provide material aid; we walk alongside families in their physical and emotional well-being, in the education of children and youth, and in strengthening family economies through skills-training workshops.

Our Work
Through our work, we accompany processes of cultural, emotional, and social recovery, creating spaces where families can reconnect with their roots, heal wounds, and build a future full of hope and dignity promoting respectful parenting and support for motherhood.

We manage our work based on real, measurable results to ensure that every action transforms lives sustainably.

And most importantly: at Itzé Nah, we build networks of solidarity and collaboration because we know that together, we are stronger.
